2010-01-31 | Large Carnivores Seminar for british students

We held a weekly seminar for students from Wiltshire College (U)K dedicated to the problems of ecology and conservation of large carnivores - wolf, lynx and bear. Students have the opportunity to hear the series of lectures and also to check their skills in animal tracking and various research methods used in research on predators.

2010-01-19 | Meeting of the Polish-German wolf group

Another meeting of the Polish-German working group on wolf acting was organized in Berlin (Germany). Among others monitoring and research perspective of wolf populations living on the border of both countries were dissccused. Member of the group is Dr. Sabina Nowak - President SDN WOLF.

2010-01-07 | AFN WOLF nominated to the National Geographic prize

The Association for Nature "Wolf" and its president Dr. Sabina Nowak are nominated to the annual prize awarded by Polish Edition of the National Geographic journal. We are nominated in the category "social initiative of the year" for our succesful campaigne for the wolf and lynx conservation.
